Here is a story I have made to also make with the EI Project so you can get a feel of what it would be like.
Chapter 1 - The Phone Call
Almost 3 year hast past since Lucas has won the Pokemon League, almost 1095 days since Lucas eradicated Team Galactic from the land of Sinnoh. And now all seems well, but a disturbance has landed in new lands above Sinnoh…
Brrrgh! BRRRRUG! BRRRRRRRRGH! Went an alarm clock shaped like Vileplume. A young man around the age of 13 slowly moved his hand from under his doona and slammed his hand firmly down onto it’s flower shaped head to turn it off.
He sat up and let out a loud groan, glancing sleepily towards a bookcase on his left. On it were 6 Pokeballs. The one farthest from him was a different coloured one. That one was a Dusk Ball. Two of them were empty, but the Dusk Ball on the left, the Pokeball on the far right, and the ones immediately beside each held the boys prized Pokemon.
“Morning guys,” the young boy said.
“Lucas honey! Breakfast is ready! Its chocolate chip pancakes!” yelled a voice from outside Lucas’s door.
“Yeah, yeah I’m comin’,” Lucas replied.
Lucas stood out of bed and went to his closet. He opened it and grabbed out a black t-shirt that had written on it “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet!” in a lighter shape of black, a pair of blue jeans and a red hat with a Pokeball on the side. He took off all of his pyjamas, sighed and then put on his clothes. He went to his bookcase and grabbed all 6 his Pokeballs and attached them to the top of his shorts.
He opened his door and walked down the stairs and saw his mum walking to a table with 3 roses in white vase with roses on it. She put the white plates onto the table.
His mum was wearing a pink blouse with a green skirt.
“Are you going to sit and eat or what?” She said.
“When you get some sense of style,” He replied as he grabbed his new red backpack and walked out the door.
When he got outside there was a man with a Pokeball in his hand. He was quite fat and dressed like a cow boy.
“You, me, battle, NOW!” He demanded. He threw his Pokeball with great force and it hit the ground and opened. A white aurora flooded out of the ball and was starting to take shape of a dinosaur. It stood quite high and it let out a mighty roar.
“You can’t stop my mighty Rampardos!!!” He yelled.
“Ha-ha. You have got to be kidding me!” Lucas replied. Lucas went to his shorts and grabbed a Pokeball. He threw it out and a white light appeared. It was taking shape of a large monkey appeared.
“Meet my Infernape!” Lucas said with a smile on his face.
“Infernape, Close Combat!” Lucas ordered.
“Rampardos, Stone Edge!” The Biker ordered.
Infernape ran towards Rampardos pulling his left arm back. Rampardos lifted her head preparing to smash it into Infernape.
“Now Infernape!” Lucas suddenly ordered.
Infernape jumped and pulled it arm even further back. Infernape started to fall right on top of Rampardos. Rampardos look worried. Infernape trusted his arm forward. Rampardos walked to the right to dodge the powerful attack.
“Ha-ha. You can’t stop me!” Said the Biker while laughing.
“You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!” Lucas said then putting on a smirk on his face.
Infernape swang his body to the right, generating more power and G-Forces and smashing into Rampardos more powerful then it was going to be. Rampardos hit the ground with a large and loud thud.
Lucas jumped up and did a little Uppercut punch in the air. Infernape rose his arms and roared in triumph.
The Biker was dumbfounded. He couldn’t speak. He withdrew his Rampardos and walked off.
“Good Game!” Lucas yelled trying to make him say something but it didn’t work.
“Lucas honey! You have a phone call!” Yelled a familiar voice from behind him.
“OK mum. I’m coming,” Lucas replied as he withdrew his Infernape into his Pokeball.
“It’s Prof. Oak and Prof. Rowan from Snowpoint City,” She said as she walked over to the sink to clean the breakfast dishes.
Lucas grabbed the phone. It was not a video phone like most around the reign but it still did what it does best, make phone calls.
“Hello Professors! I just won a battle using that air technique you taught Infernape!” Lucas said excitedly.
“Good job!” Said Oak. “Now we need you here at Snowpoint City. It’s really urgent and you’re the best man for the job.”
“Can you tell me what it is now?” Lucas asked.
“No. We must say this in person, face to face, man to -,” Rowan said before Lucas interrupted.
“Yeah, I get it. I’ll be right there,” Lucas said.
“We are counting on you Lucas. You have 2 hours to get here,” Oak said.
“I’ll try,” Lucas said as he hung up the phone.
“I have to go mum,” He said.
“It’s fine. Remember to –,”
“I know! No need to remind me!” He quickly said.
“Remember to take spare Pokeballs just in case you see some cool Pokemon, I was going to say!” She said.
“Yeah right mum,” He said as he walked out the door.
“Go, Staraptor!” He said.
He grabbed out another Pokeball and threw it towards the shy. It opened and out came a very large bird. It flew down and picked Lucas up.
“Snowpoint City OK?” Lucas asked.
“Staraptor!” Staraptor yelled as he started to fly to Snowpoint City.
Chapter 2 - Meeting and Info
Staraptor flew quickly to Snowpoint City. Lucas had to use one hand to hold on to Staraptor while the other to hold on to his hat. Lucas took a look a head and saw tons of snow falling and on the ground. He could just see a large building with the Official Pokemon League Gym sign at the front. He knew they where very close to landing.
In a few minutes they had landed outside the Pokemon Centre in Snowpoint City. He walked inside and went up to the counter. Nurse Joy wasn’t there. Instead was a young, pretty girl wearing a pink mini skirt and a pink no sleaved shirt on.
“Um, where’s Nurse Joy?” Lucas asked while taking his hat off his head.
“She got a cold. HEY! You’re Luc-“ She said before Lucas cut in and said.
“Shhhhh! I don’t want people to know! Anyway can you look after my Pokemon?” Lucas asked. He took off his Pokeballs from his jeans and handed them to her.
“Anything!” She said while grabbing his Pokeballs and putting them in a machine.
Lucas turned around and went to get some food. He walked around the corner and saw Dawn sitting at a table with a young boy. Lucas walked over to them.
“Hey Dawn,” Lucas said.
“Hey Lucas! This is Blake. He is a friend of mine’s son. I’m baby sitting,” She said. Dawn was also 13. She was wearing a pink beanie. A black shirt with no sleaves and a pink skirt with long pink boots.
“Hey Blake!” Lucas said to the young boy.
“You suck! I hate you! Cynthia should’ve kicked your –“ Blake said before Dawn interrupted.
“BLAKE! Don’t say things like that!” Dawn shouted.
“It’s OK Dawn.” Lucas said.
“Good luck trying to win 1 battle Blake!” Lucas said as he walked off.
“I could beat you any day!” Black shouted.
“Ha-ha-ha! That’s the funniest thing I have heard in a long time!” Lucas said.
“SCARED!” Blake shouted.
Lucas just ignored him and went to the counter to get some food. He was waiting in line for a while before he got to order.
“What would you like sir?” Said the man behind the counter. He was wearing a gray uniform with a hat saying “PokeCentre Food”.
“I’ll have a Hot Dog and a large can of Lemonade,” Lucas said.
The man gave him the food. Lucas grabbed the food and 3 coins on the table. He looked up and winked at the guy. The man grabbed the coins and kept on ordering.
Lucas went back to the desk to get his Pokemon back. Before he could his phone rang. He ate the rest of his Hot Dog and opened up his backpack. He got out his phone.
“Hello?” Lucas said.
“WHERE IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU BEEN!?!?” Yelled the voice from the phone.
“Who are you?” Lucas asked.
“It’s Rowan!” said Prof. Rowan angrily.
“Um, I’m in Snowpoint City’s Pokemon Centre,” Lucas said with a frightened voice.
“Oh,” Rowan said. “Stay there. We’ll come to you,”
“OK man,” Lucas said. He hang up the phone and put it in his bag. Get took a drink from the Lemonade and kept on walking to the Counter with the girl.
“Hey,” Lucas said.
“Um, hey,” She replied back nervously. “You want your Pokemon back?”
“Yeah, thanks,” Lucas said. “So, what’s your name?”
“Crystal,” said Crystal while giving him his Pokeballs back.
“Wow, nice name! You look as good as one!” Lucas said.
Lucas went as red a tomato! He blushed so fast and so red. They just kept looking at each other.
“Oh god, did I just say that?!?” Lucas thought to him self.
“He likes me? He really likes me?” Crystal thought.
“Thanks!” Crystal said to make him start talking.
“Um, anytime.” Lucas said.
“Lucas! It’s about time I saw you!” Said a voice from behind him.
Lucas turned around and saw a tall old man wearing a suit and tie. He has a white beard and hair.
“Professor!” Lucas said. “Long time no see.”
“Yes it is Lucas. Now come and sit down here. We need to talk about something important,” said Rowan
They walked to a table and sat down. Rowan placed out a map. It had 17 islands on it.
“These are the Elemental Islands. They are a bit like the Sinnoh region but with 17 islands. Each Island holds a type for every Pokemon,” said Rowan.
“So, every island only has 1 type on it?” Asked Lucas.
“Yes. We need you to go there and do something for us,” replied Rowan.
“What?” Lucas asked.
“We need you to learn about each islands through a Trainers point of view. Us Professors can’t study these islands if we don’t know what they mean for a trainer. You will need to go from here to every Island. Along the way, you will need to catch some Pokemon and fight the Island masters,” explained Rowan.
“What? I have to do a Gym league but with 17 badges not 8?” shout Lucas.
“No, these are not badges my boy. The Island leaders hold information about something they don’t even know about. We needed someone we can trust to do this for us. We chose you,” Rowan replied.
Lucas felt un-easy about doing this. It look him a year to finish Sinnoh and he has no idea how long something like this would take him.
“How long will this take?” Lucas replied.
“Depends on how much trouble you get in,” replied Rowan.
“By who?” Lucas asked nervously.
A sudden explosion is heard. People in the Pokemon Center where screaming and running around. Fear was inside everyone inside the Pokemon Center, except for Rowan. He remanned calm.
“Them,” said the Professor.
Chapter 3 - Them
“Them? Who’s them?” asked Lucas with a scared tone.
4 people smash into the Pokemon Centre’s door. Large balls of concrete fly around the room from the blast. Smoke and dust has covered the room and no one could see 2 feet in front of them.
“Hand over the tablet Rowan!” yelled a voice in a demanding tone.
“Go, Staraptor! Blow away the smoke!” ordered Lucas as he threw up a Poke Ball. A large bird appeared in a flash of light.
“Star!” squawked Staraptor. He pulled his wings back and flapped rapidly till all the smoke was gone.
“Star!” screamed Staraptor triumphantly.
With the smoke cleared, the 4 people could be seen clear as day. Each wore shorts and shirts with no sleaves with TE written on the front, with the colors being a light shade of gray.
“Hand it over Rowan!” yelled one of the strange men.
Rowan passed a tabled with many different colors on it to Lucas. Lucas quickly stashed it into his backpack.
“Bad idea kid. You are now enemies of Team Eon! Steel Island squad 5, ATTACK!” yelled a different man. The 4 men grabbed a Poke Ball and threw them. 4 large, bright lights appeared. Each took a form of a Pokemon. A Donphan, a Dugtrio, an Arcanine and a Magmortar.
“Wait, you have Fire and Ground types when you’re Steel?” Lucas asked confused.
“We use Pokemon for the advantage. We are on Steel Island so we use Pokemon that are good against Steel Types,” explained the last man.
“Steel Island? I’ll beat you guys then I’ll figure this out,” said Lucas. “Return Staraptor. Go, Palkia!”
In a flash of light the whole Pokemon Center was lit up. The light formed into the legendary space Pokemon Palkia.
“Attack!” yelled all of the men. Donphan rolled into a ball and charged at Palkia. Dugtrio charged at Palkia. Arcanine ran at extreme pace and went into a fire ball. Magmortar made it’s fist surrounded by fire and made it’s way towards Palkia.
“Haha, Surf Palkia,” ordered Lucas.
Palkia jumped and water appeared under it’s feet. A large wave smashed into all of the other Pokemon and the 4 men. The got washed away out of the Pokemon Center.
After the wave hit a helicopter could be heard outside the Pokemon Center. Everyone knew that they had left.
“Team Eon. Those are the Team Galactic of the Elemental Islands. They are after tablet so they can unlock the secret of the Elemental Islands. No one knows what it is exactly. Legend tells that when the tablet is full the key will open the,” explained Rowan.
“The what?” asked Lucas.
“We don’t know. Where we found the legend it was gone. We want you to find out what it means,” answered Rowan. “Will you do it for us?”
“Sure will!” replied Lucas with a smile. “But first we have to fix the Pokemon Centre.”
Lucas sent out all of his Pokemon to help rebuild the Pokemon Centre. Infernape helped other Fighting Types lift concrete cubes and sent them around. Staraptor lifted smaller cubes to the roof. Alakazam moved cubes his Psychic powers. Palkia lifted rocks to the roof and all around the building. With the help of many Pokemon, it only took 1 night to finish.
In the morning, Lucas grabbed all he needed and shoved it into his backpack and went on the boat. He looked at Snowpoint City and smiled. He saw someone running towards the boat. When they ran closer he noticed it was Crystal.
“What are you doing here?” Lucas asked.
“First of all, I am coming too. Secondly, I have our passes to go all around the Elemental Islands,” she replied with a cheeky smile.
“Cool. Where should we go first?” Lucas said while putting his arm around her shoulders.
“Fire Island. Why? Because we can!” she replied smiling at Lucas.
“Fire Island here we come!” Lucas shouted.
The boat started to sail into the sunrise heading towards the hardest, journey Lucas will ever do.
Chapter 4 - While you sleep
While Lucas slept during the night the Eon Grunts flew back to their underwater base in between Fire and Psychic Island. It is a large base but the deep and dark water hides it well from everyone.
As the helicopter hovers over water one of the Grunts punches in a code. A few moments later a large pillar like tube rises out of the water. The top opens wide as the helicopter lowers it’s self into the pipe. When all of the helicopter is inside it, the top shuts with a loud thud. It then lowers it’s self into the dark, water depth below.
“Why does she send us on suicide missions? I mean, we knew about Palkia and she sends us, Steel Island Grunts! She knew we would be destroyed and she did nothing to help us! I say we fight her! Are you 3 with me?” Said the driving Grunt.
“Yeah!” cheered the others.
As the helicopter landed, onto a pad marked with a large yellow x. As the Grunts walked off the pad onto a ramp that led to an elevator, the pad moved away with the helicopter on it into a large room that no one could see because no one turned the lights on.
The Grunts walked to the elevator and elevated up to the room known as “Hers”. As it rose higher and higher, the hearts of the Grunts pounded harder and harder. Not knowing if they would come back down alive or the same again.
When the elevator reached the top, they walked out and approached the door. As the walked towards it, one of the Grunts stoped. The others turned around to look at him.
“I can’t do this,” he said in a terrified tone.
“Look, she can’t stop all 4 of us! We have strength in numbers!” explained one of the Grunts trying to motivate him into going through with the plan.
“We don’t have a plan though! We have no chance!” he tried to explain.
“It’s simple. Attack until she gives up, then we take over!” said the tallest Grunt before breaking into an evil laugh.
“Fine I’ll go through with this,” sighed the Grunt.
Before they could even take the next step, the floor gave way and the Grunts fell down. They all screamed a defining scream. They crashed into a battle field. They stood up and dusted them selves off.
“Welcome traitors! Madam isn’t her right now. She is doing under cover work. She is trying to get close to Lucas to get Palkia to help own plans! She needed you 4 to stall him to make sure it was him. You did your job perfectly. If you didn’t try and attack her, I would’ve put in a very good word for you all, but now, you all can be locked up and never to be seen again for all I care. Now, send out your Pokemon and we shall battle,” said the man at the other end of the room.
“Blane, you little evil -“ started one of the Grunts.
“Shut up and fight!” said Blane as he threw out a Poke Ball.
When it landed a large white light appeared. It quickly took form of a sea dragon. When it’s form was fully shown, it let sparks fly. It was a shiny Kingdra!
“GO!” shouted all of the Grunts as the threw all of there Poke Balls. When they opened, the whole room was filled with white light that formed into 4 Pokemon, Dugtrio, Donphan, Arcanine and Magmortar.
“Rain Dance then Surf!” ordered Blane.
Kingdra roared and made the whole room rain. After it flew for a few seconds, Kingdra jumped into the air and made a large wave. It landed on the wave and started to charge towards the Pokemon.
When the wave hit, all 4 of the Pokemon where fainted. The trainers returned their prized Pokemon and started to charge at Blane. Kingdra jumped in the way and charged up another attack, Dragon Pulse. It shot the powerful blast at the Grunts smashing them into the wall. Kingdra defeated the Grunts and their Pokemon.
“And that is why they make good practice dummies!” stated Blane. “Guards, take them to the dungeon!”
A door opened and 4 really big and buff men in black suits came and picked up all of the Grunts. They walked away into the door.
“Haha, could that have been easier?” said a voice from behind Blane.
“Yes. If I didn’t have to do this or they gave up before the battle. Now Heath, lets send a squad of Fire and Water Island Grunts to intercept Madam and Lucas from their boat ride,” stated Blane.
“But what about-“ started Heath.
“Madam will have taken care of it,” interrupted Blane.
“Not Palkia, the-“ again Heath went on to say.
“I wasn’t talking about Palkia. That is our job. I know what you mean, and she would’ve taken care of it. Trust me, and more importantly, her!” replied Blane.
“OK, I’ll inform the Grunts about it. Duel or single?” asked Heath.
“Surprise me,” replied Blane.
Chapter 5 Part 1 - The Surprise and Rise of Hinda!
“What a lovely day it is today? I could just re-live this morning again and again!” stated Crystal as she waited for Lucas to get up from bed.
As Lucas slept, he kept rocking around like a leaf in the wind. All night he was doing it. He suddenly sat up. Sweat was going down his face like a waterfall. He was breathing like he just ran 3 straight marathons. His mouth was wide open and his eyes bloodshot and almost coming out of his head.
“What was that thing?” Lucas said. As he was about to get up, Crystal walked in. He quickly hid under the covers.
“What’s wrong with you? I could her you from up on top of the deck! Why are you hiding yourself?” Crystal asked scratching her head.
“1, No idea. Bad dream I think. 2, I was THAT loud? 3, No pants,” sated Lucas.
“OK, I’ll go out. Just hurry up!” ordered Crystal. She turned around and walked out.
Lucas gets out of bed and gets dressed with a new set of the same clothes he always wears. He walks out of his cabin and sees Crystal holding a photo in her hand. She places it close to her heart and sighs.
“What’s that?” Lucas asks
“Nothing,” she says. “Hungry?”
“Yeah!” Lucas said as he sat Crystal down to her seat.
“You know when we get to Fire Island?” Se asked.
“No idea,” replied Lucas before taking a spoon full of his cereal.
“Damn. I hope we get there soon,” sighed Crystal.
“Same,” replied Lucas
They stopped talking for a new moments so they could eat a bit. As Crystal was about to speak but Lucas cut in.
“Why were you working in the Pokemon Centre?” He asked with a curious look on his face
“You want the honest truth?” she asked with a worried face.
“Well, yeah. I would be a sarcastic twit but I really want to know,” replied Lucas.
“OK. I am not some fill in nurse or some nice lady in the street. I was sen-“ started Crystal before the captain started speaking.
“I am afraid we have some bad news. When you enter the Elemental Islands, you can only carry 3 Pokemon with you. If you have more then 3 you have to send them to the PC. Sorry about this. Actually I have to say that. I honestly couldn’t care less if you do or don’t care. Have fun kids!” said the captain smiling widely as he turned around and walked off.
“Damn! I guess I’ll leave Staraptor behind. Who are you leaving?” asked Lucas.
“No one. I knew about this. I’ll be in my room if you want me,” Crystal replied.
“OK,” shouted Lucas. Crystal put up her hand as a sign of acknowledgment
For a few minutes Lucas ate his breakfast before he sat up to stretch. He walked over to the PC and deposited Staraptor.
“Sorry buddy. I wish I didn’t have to do it,” Lucas said to the Poke Ball before it got zapped away in a flash of light.
Suddenly the ship started to shake. Lucas fell over and landed flat on his back. 6 large helicopters appeared in the distance. In a matter of seconds, as Lucas stood up, they came closer and closer.
“Hello Lucas!” said a voice from the front helicopter. “Please, if you will, turn your head to the right, your right my left, and you shall see the one, the only, Madam Hinda!!”
Lucas looked right and saw a shadow walk up the stair case that leads to the rooms…
