Competitive Battling is a new feature in D/P. It was in others but it's more noticed now. CB (competitive Battling) is when you battle someone else who also has D/P. You battle them with Wi-Fi. You make a team and battle them.
Sweepers are the Pokemon you attack with. They have high Speed and Attack Stats. 3-4 are a good number to have.
Physical Sweepers
These Pokemon normally have High Attack and Speed stats. They try to Knock out the opponent before they can hit back.

Earthquake, Aerial Ace, Close Combat, Brick Break, Stone Edge, Dragon Claw, Crunch, Elemental Fangs/Punches, Waterfall

Special Sweepers
These are very similar to the Physical Sweeper but instead of the Attack stat, they use the Sp.Attack Stat.

Mixed Sweepers
Like both of the 2 together. These Pokemon have High Sp.Attack, Attack and Speed Stats and have a large move pool.
